Have you ever heard of Frances Bean Cobain? To be true we didn’t know anything about this beautiful girl either until some pictures of her (which were taken by French photographer Hedi Slimane) hit the online world. Unlike many children of celebrities, Frances (it seems) avoided the spotlight and preferred to do her own thing outside all the glamour. Frances Bean is not only Kurt Cobain’s and Courtney Love’s daughter but also Drew Barrymore’s goddaughter. Since Slimane’s beautiful pictures of Frances appeared, the world cannot take their eyes off her. She’ll be one of the next so-called “it-girls”. However, we hope and do not think that she’ll become like Paris Hilton or Cory Kennedy.

Style.com is where we go to get all the updates from New York to Paris fashion week. We love Tim Blanks’ and Nicole Phelps reports about the shows and Tommy Ton’s street style pictures. To be honest we cannot get enough of such a vital fashion website. Apparently, style.com’s EIC Dirk Standen and his staff noticed it and decided to launch a style.com magazine. But why did they decide to launch their own magazine? Standen says:
"If you look at the big picture I don’t think [media] brands can afford to be tied to one medium anymore. Obviously you see that with magazines paying a lot of attention to their websites now. But even on the web, it’s not enough to just have a website. You have to be on various digital devices. You need to be on the various social media sites. You want your content to be available in as many places as possible. Now that we are within the Fairchild umbrella, which has a lot of experience and a great deal of expertise in publishing, it became a natural extension for Style.com to do a magazine."
The magazine will be available in Europe and in the U.S. starting in October the 31st. To pre-order the mag click here: http://tinyurl.com/3qxgaa2

Strange as it may sound, Natalia Kills has Perez Hilton to thank for her burgeoning fame. “I wrote a song for myself and put it on my MySpace page and he blogged about me and suddenly I had two million plays and was No. 1 on the MySpace unsigned artist chart,” the half-Jamaican, half-Uruguayan London-bred singer says. A record deal with Will.i.am followed in 2008, as did a chart-topping single, “Mirrors,” which was produced by Akon. Yesterday, Kills dropped her first solo album, Perfectionist, and celebrated with a rooftop record release party in New York. Source: style.com

It’s been a while since we’ve seen someone other than a model covering an issue of French Vogue. We’ve seen Sashas; Laras, Natashas and so many more and even if the covers were amazing we kind of missed some actresses and personalities as cover stars. Vogue Paris’ EIC Emanuelle Alt decided to cover beautiful Charlotte Casiraghi (shot by Mario Testino) in Vogue’s September issue which is known to be the January of fashion. How do you like the cover? Thumbs up or down?
It’s been a while since Kate Moss wedding. However, people can not stop talking about it anymore. After releasing Terry Richardson’s unofficial’ photos, some official ones (which were taken by photographer and Kate’s close friend Mario Testino) were just released. They turned out very beautiful and some of them could be a Vogue spread. There are not only beautiful pictures of Kate Moss and her beau but also of the guests such as model Lara Stone, Christian Louboutin, Sadie Frost, Jude Law and the V.I.P. list goes on. After watching movies like ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ and ‘Shopaholic’ we didn’t get to watch anymore movies on how the fashion world might be like…until now! An anonymous person created a Twitter account called ‘CondeElevator’ and tweets some of the conversations that happen to occur in the Condé Nast Elevator. Some of them are quite funny. And here we are: reading about Condé Nast ladies, gentlemen and interns who wonder about their daily outfits, food intake and can not get a word out when they see legendary Anna Wintour.
